The legendary troupe arrived on Fifth Avenue in their iconic red “New York at Christmas” dresses and exclusive Saks-bedazzled hairpieces, as crowds gathered to take in a show-stopping medley from the Christmas Spectacular — ending, of course, with their iconic kickline.
The performance set the perfect stage for the return of the Holiday Light Show and the grand reveal of Saks’ holiday windows. In honor of the Rockettes 100th anniversary, Saks’ 49th Street windows showcase a curated collection of the troupe’s most memorable costumes and original sketches from across the decades, including “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” “12 Days of Christmas,” “Dance of the Frost Fairies,” “Dancing in Diamonds,” and “Star Bright.”
