Rockettes Preparatory is an invite-only introductory training program held at Radio City Music Hall each summer. The program provides dancers who are new to Rockettes technique with a well-rounded curriculum that introduces Rockettes Precision Dance Technique™ while emphasizing a strong technical foundation in ballet, tap, and jazz, as well as strength and stamina training. Participating dancers may also be considered for additional Dancer Development Programming at Radio City Music Hall, including Rockettes Apprenticeship™ and Rockettes Winter Intensive.
Designed as an investment in promising dancers’ futures, there is no fee for invited dancers to attend Rockettes Preparatory.
REQUIREMENTS
The 2026 Rockettes Preparatory will be held June 8 – June 19, 2026. In order to be considered for the program, dancers must:
- Attend the April Rockettes audition, or be invited by the Rockettes creative team
- Be at least 18 years of age by June 8, 2026
