Rockettes Pick for Dancer of the Week: The Houston Astros Mascot

Who: Orbit (aka the Houston Astros’ mascot)

His dance:

Why we chose him: Known to be one of the more eccentric and entertaining mascots in Major League Baseball, Orbit, the Astros’ lime green, baseball-loving, fuzzy alien mascot, gave fans more than they bargained for at last weekend’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Giving Beyoncé a run for her money, Orbit put on a compelling rendition of “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” … and even made a mid-performance wardrobe change.

Fun fact: This isn’t the first time Orbit made headlines—back in May 2015 when he was celebrating his birthday, things got a little out of hand and the fuzzy outer-space creature went streaking through Minute Maid Park. Yes, streaking.
