Why we picked them:  You don’t have to be a millennial to learn the latest viral dance craze. With the help of his castmates on The Good Place, Ted Danson has slowly but surely learned this year’s most popular dance move: flossing!

William Jackson-Harper channeled his character Chidi Anagonye, an indecisive philosophy professor, as he taught Danson the basics of “flossing” in between scene takes. The pair were later joined by co-stars Kristen Bell and D’Arcy Carden, who offered a few more pointers on technique.

“Flossing” requires the fast-paced swinging of your arms as you move your hips in the opposite direction, making sure your hips squeeze in-between your arms with every other hit… so basically, it takes a lot of focus and coordination. Through the help of his castmates, however, Danson seemed to be in a *good place* to eventually ace this trendy dance move!

Fun fact: Jameela Jamil, who plays Tahani in the show, posted a follow-up video on her own Instagram; looks like practice makes perfect for Danson and his “flossing” skills!
