THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO WORDS ~ This mother son duo with Mrs. Ginny Goodwin Jenkins & Scott Jenkins ROCKED it! 🐎🐎🐎

Why we chose them: It takes a lot of guts to get up on stage and perform at a high school talent show. Especially if you work at the school!

But that’s what Myers Park High School guidance counselor Ginny Jenkins did for the school’s recent talent show, and invited none other than her son Scott to join her—all to help raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The Charlotte, North Carolina, duo took the cheering audience through a “history of dance,” clearly having a blast while showcasing some of the past decades’ favorite crazes. Clad in jerseys and set to a musical mash-up, the pair ace the Macarena, do their best Hammer dance, bust out the running man, slide into a moonwalk, and even tag-team the moves from “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).”

It’s clear this isn’t the first time the family members have busted a move together. According to Ginny, who’s worked at the school for 10 years, dancing at home to hip-hop is a totally normal occurrence. Scott, who works as an accountant, even described the performance to a local news affiliate as “nothing out of the ordinary.”

We’re crossing our fingers for a repeat performance in talent shows to come. In the meantime, here’s to spontaneous family dance parties!

Fun fact: Scott’s no newbie to performing. He and his brother, Mark, write, record and perform music together under the monikers Scholar and Mkay.
