Why we picked them: We love a good father-daughter wedding dance… but this viral video (with more than 400,000 views and counting) gave us all the feels!

As part of her wedding day, Mary Bourne (Roberts) Butts led her father, Jim Roberts, around the dance floor in his wheelchair to Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance.” The beautiful moment, captured by their wedding photographer, shows the two gliding along the dance floor as Mary occasionally stops to twirl herself around.

Their dance is a very special one because her father, an Alabama attorney diagnosed with glioblastoma (an incurable brain cancer), entered hospice care just days before her December 29th wedding.

The bride says the two would dance around their kitchen to the same song when she was a little girl.

“We had always planned to use the song – we weren’t sure how he was going to even feel that day – we just knew that we were going to do it somehow,” the bride told Fox News.

Fun fact: This isn’t Mary’s first time dabbling in dancing… she’s a professional dance teacher!
