Rockettes’ Pick for Dancer of the Week: Ballet Dancers Re-Imagining ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’

Who: Erina Takahashi and James Forbat from the English National Ballet

Their dance:

Why we chose them: A much-loved tune that you’ve heard more times than you can count, Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” has had its fair share of tributes—but in honor of the song’s 40th anniversary, English National Ballet (ENB) soloist James Streeter choreographed a mesmerizing 6-minute performance chock-full of beautiful, breathtaking movements executed by two talented dancers from ENB, Erina Takahashi (Lead Principal) and James Forbat (First Soloist).

“‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ means a lot to me. I guess it was the start of my dancing career. To be asked to choreograph it was amazing,” Streeter tells Elle U.K.

We have one thing to say: Magnifico-o-o-ooooooooo!

Fun fact: The duet is so incredible, that Queen’s official channel uploaded the video on YouTube.
