Why we chose him: The winter travel season is notorious for stories about long lines, delayed flights, and crowded planes. But here’s a video that reminds us what the season’s really about: Having fun! During a layover at Dallas Love Field airport, two little Southwest passengers, Tinlee (age 5) and little sister Brynlee (age 3), were treated to a full-on dance-off with Southwest employee Chris Anderson.

While waiting for their flight to Oklahoma City on their way home from a family vacation at Disney World, the pair began dancing in front of a window at the gate. And when Anderson, working down on the ground, saw the girls, he first waved, then joined in on the fun!

The sisters ad-lib their own cute moves, and then begin to mimic Anderson as he kicks, spreads his arms out and glides like a plane, and even does the chicken dance. The girls’ giggles and a Christmas jingle playing in the background create a perfect soundtrack for the silly scene.

When he realized what was happening, the girls’ father, Joe, grabbed his phone to capture the moment. He posted the video on his Facebook page, and the video now has more than 41,000 views!

Let’s all take a cue from Anderson to get the New Year started off right: With plenty of joy and lots of dancing!

Fun fact: The girls’ father, Joe, reported that Southwest Airlines planned to recognize Anderson for going above and beyond in his job. Way to go!
