Rockettes’ 8 Favorite Dance-Worthy Grammy Award Nominations

Considered the music industry’s most prestigious award show, the much-hyped Grammy Awards recognize artists, recordings and compositions from the world’s biggest superstars and emerging talent (all of whom want to take home one of those epic gold-plated gramophones!).

As dancers, we Rockettes are all about turning up some trendy tunes, letting the rhythm of the music take over our bodies and throwing down some epic moves. So, in honor of the 58th Grammy Awards premiering Monday, Feb. 15 on CBS at 8 p.m. ET, we’re sharing our eight favorite nominations that have the ability to force us to the dance floor—from Maroon 5’s “Sugar” to The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face”:

“Uptown Funk” | Mark Ronson Feat. Bruno Mars

Nomination: Record of the Year
Why we love it: Spending nearly 14 weeks atop Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart and selling nearly five million downloads, this feel-good tune makes us want to get up and dance every time it blasts through the speakers!

“Thinking Out Loud” | Ed Sheeran

Nomination: Song of the Year
Why we love it: Boy, Ed Sheeran really knows how to tug on the heartstrings with this swoon-worthy song! The first tune to ever hit 500 million streams on Spotify, this sentimental melody makes us want to twirl around a ballroom.

“Can’t Feel My Face” | The Weeknd

Nomination: Best Pop Solo Performance
Why we love it: Kudos to The Weeknd for coming out with such a bubbly, dance-esque track! We love this tune so much that we picked it as our favorite summer jam—not only does it equal a good time, but we always find ourselves jammin’ along when it flows through our headphones.

“Where Are Ü Now” | Skrillex and Diplo Feat. Justin Bieber

Nomination: Best Dance Recording
Why we love it: Whether or not you’re a Belieber, it’s hard to resist busting out a few moves to this chart-topping dubstep jam. And we’re not the only ones who agree—these five dancers recently performed synchronized, conceptual moves on modern-day Segways to Justin Bieber’s smash hit.

“Ex’s & Oh’s” | Elle King

Nomination: Best Rock Song
Why we love it: Aside from blowing up radio airwaves, this catchy track is a little bit country and a whole lotta’ rock’n’roll. And if we’re being honest, we’re guilty of busting out the air guitar during the chorus …

“Sugar” | Maroon 5

Nomination: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance
Why we love it: A crisp disco track at its finest! And seriously, how can you not love the music video where Adam Levine and his band mates crash weddings in LA and do a pop-up performance?!

“Fetty Wap” | Trap Queen

Nomination: Best Rap Song
Why we love it: Sometimes we just have this urge to shake what our mama gave us … and this booty-shaking song is the perfect tune to show off our moves.

“Bad Blood” | Taylor Swift Feat. Kendrick Lamar

Nomination: Best Music Video
Why we love it: It’s Taylor Swift. Enough said.
