His dance:

Why we chose him: Prepare yourself to be totally obsessed and mesmerized. Well-known for his fierce, sharp and fun choreography (in heels!), it’s safe to say that Yanis Marshall can work heels better than anyone we know.

Currently touring the world teaching and performing, Yanis recently stopped by Broadway Dance Center in New York City to teach his students some epic choreography—which he did on the spot—to Gerorge Michael’s “Too Funky”.

“It’s been a while since I’ve filmed my regular classes at Broadway Dance Center,” says Yanis. “It’s nice to see my students getting better and more confident!”

Yani rose to Internet fame when the he and his fellow heeled dancers took to the streets of Paris for a Spice Girls megamix tribute (YAAAS!). Since then, his viral videos have been shared by dancing-queen artists such as Beyoncé, Ciara and Ariana Grande.

Fun fact: In 2014, Yanis appeared as a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent. He was also on the French version of Dancing with the Stars as an artistic coach, choreographed for Ukraine’s So You Think You Can Dance and is now the new choreographer of Cirque du Soleil’s “Zumanity” show in Las Vegas.
